Yield is a very simple visualisation for Property Investors to work out whether a property is worth buying. We have used a simple formula to calculate the yield within our calculator for agents to calculate the yield of a property.
The Formula is as follows:
Yield = monthly rental return * 12 / investment * 100
An Example would be as follows:
Monthly rental return = £600 and an Investment = £150,000
£600 * 12 = £7,200
£7,200 / £150,000 = 0.048
0.048 * 100 = 4.8 % yield
